Crime Stoppers Midland Police looking for construction site thieves

Midland Crime Stoppers and Midland Police are looking for suspects involved in a construction site theft of $4,300 worth of property.

On Tuesday, Sept. 2, Midland Police responded to a report of a construction site theft at Crestview Baptist Church on the northwest side of Loop 250 and Thomason, according to Midland Crime Stoppers.

The site's contractor and three sub-contractors reported a Honda 8HP 4300 watt generator, a Black & Decker metal cutting chop saw, two Hilti nail guns, one Hilti PLS laser, two Makita chop saws, a 12" Black & Decker mite saw, a 12" Black & Decker compound miter saw, one set of two way radios and three extension cords were missing. The total value of the items reported stolen was about $4,300.

This incident is similar to others that have occurred throughout the city. Anyone with information that leads to the arrest of a suspect or suspects could receive a $1,000 cash reward. Call 694-TIPS, 1-800-7LOCKUP or visit midlandcrimestoppers.com to submit an anonymous tip.
